  • Keep your apps updated

There’s a reason developers constantly update apps,and most of the time it’s for memory or battery optimization.Keeping your apps updated also means you have the best optimiation avaliable .Likewise ,delete old apps you no longer use,because these may be running ackground processes that chew up RAM and battery life.

  • Keep low brightness & Switch off auto-brightness

It’s better to manually set the brightness to a level that is low but comfortable.Turn off automatic brightness in Setting,and you will happy to find the increasing your battery life it makes.

  • Shorten your screen timeout

It’s a well-known fact that the display is one of the biggest sources of battery drain, so managing it is crucial to its longevity. The “screen-timeout” or “sleep” setting determines how long your display will stay awake for after it has been engaged with; if your screen remains on while you aren’t looking at it, it’s wasting precious battery life. Best to set it to the lowest value you are comfortable with in regular use, and only change it when you need to.

 

Problem 2 : Your charger does not work

Cable: Check whether your cable works with another phone, or conversely whether your phone works with another cable.Try to clean the charger connector. If your charger proves to be faulty, remember to only buy chargers from reputable manufacturers.

Charging port: Your phone fails to detect power source because the charging port is distorted or obstructed.You can try to clean up the port with a toothpick .

Software collapse: Charging is not only a hardware issue but with software involved. The phone needs software to detect there is charger plugged in. So if software crashes, the phone also can’t charge

Software update: Some older models find it hard to support new OS version. So if you newly update the device to Android 7.0/6.0, the phone may become charging slowly.

Replace battery:The lifespan of a battery normally is two years.After two years,the battery could drain quickly or doesn’t charge properly.Open the back cover of your phone and take out the battery.Check if the battery is bulged or leaks fluid;if it is,replace it with a new one.
